a day for parties

Today was a day for work and a day for parties. We spent most of the morning cleaning the house and yard, and planting flowers.

We spent most of the afternoon attending the graduation parties of some of Bill's friends. They were fun. We came home in between two of the parties, as home was on the route from the first to the second. We had stopped off for a potty break, but a thunderstorm blew up out of nowhere so we stayed home for a little while, deciding to wait for the heavy rain and hail to pass before heading on to the second party. the second party was fun, too, and we enjoyed playing with the tiny little dog that belonged to that family.

When we got home, my sister was waiting in the driveway for us. She had just gotten in from Tennessee. Dan and I took her out to dinner at our favorite diner (the kids were too full from eating a lot of food at the parties). She visited for hours tonight, before heading off to her hotel.

Tomorrow is graduation!!!!!
