Today was Mother's Day.

I had one of my favorite kinds of days. We had a quiet breakfast out on the deck (though that bothered the mother bird, so we probably won't use the deck very much until the babies are up and away), then went for a quiet walk with the dog.Then we went out for ice cream cones.

 

I had to go to work after that, unfortunately, but so goes life. As long as there are sick people, they must be taken care of.
