Work week is over. They still haven't caught the peeping tom yet, who has been lying down on the floor outside the doors of the women's bathrooms trying to look in through the air grate.  This week was also marked by a flea infestation in the carpeting if the unit dose area, but I was lucky to be in the IV room, so was not affected.

Dan went back to the doctor. They still want him to go in for an MRI (brain scan) later this month, which was the fastest the hospital could schedule it. His blood pressure was still up, so they doubled the dose of his medication , which bothers him (makes him dizzy, ect.) But he hasn't had any more of his debilitating headaches lately, which is a good thing, indeed.

I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding the other night and loved it. It was refreshing seeing a romantic movie with lead characters played by normally good looking people rather than plastic Hollywood fake good looking people. The story of the cross cultural romance was very sweet. Reminded me a lot of a wedding a couple of summers ago where Dan was the best man. The groom was an old money WASP and the bride was second generation American, with a great big exuberant Mediterranean family.

Listening to the rock band Evanescence tonight.

"Bring Me To Life"
(feat. Paul McCoy)

how can you see into my eyes like open doors
leading you down into my core
where I’ve become so numb without a soul my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back home

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become

now that I know what I’m without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become

Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life

frozen inside without your touch without your love darling only you are the life among the dead

all this time I can't believe I couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become

(Bring me to life)
I’ve been living a lie, there’s nothing inside
(Bring me to life)
